About Caroline

I grew up in New Jersey and spent most of my professional life living in Philly. I’m now living in a small town in Oregon called Pleasant Hill, where the population is 2218 people! I used to go to a high school that had close to that many people! But I’m totally digging Oregon – it’s beautiful and the people are mostly nice. I still think people are friendlier in Philly – you know, it is the City of Brotherly Love!

I’ve spent most of my life doing things people doubted I could do – like beating my entire elementary school in a dodge ball competition (I was the last bruised kid standing – oh and did I mention this was a Catholic school, and I was damn near the shortest/skinnest kid in the school?). I disguised myself as my brother when I was eleven years old to compete in a BMX bike race that didn’t allow girls (which I won by the way) – and then moved out west to start an internet/social shopping company called OsoEco – and raised close to half a million dollars.

So needless to say, I am a sucker for the underdog. I like helping people find their voice, stick-up for themselves – and get what they want out of life.

Anyway – I wanted to start this blog as a place to write about the things I find interesting enough to THINK about and share. So you’ll find stuff here about PEOPLE I think are interesting for one reason or another, MEDIA (especially social media), and TECHNOLOGY I find to be not boring – oh and some other CRAP I just think is fun to share…

It’s my goal to interject some attitude, humor and craziness into my posts – because I read plenty of blog entries all stinkin day long and most of them bore me half to to death! I hope I don’t do that – so PLEASE tell me if I do!
